About and concept
The idea
Elk Hollow is a working resort you can own a piece of: twenty-eight cabins scattered through forty acres of spruce, run by one operator, shared by guests and owners. Book a weekend, or hold a deed — the valley works either way.
The architecture
Charred timber, rough stone, arched glass. The buildings sit low and dark so the ridge stays the tallest thing in the valley — and every window is placed to frame it. Terraces step down the slope; roofs grow back over with grass.
Where the valley keeps time
The Valley
Elk Hollow sits at the head of a box canyon on Forest Road 12 — one road in, no road through. Everything worth walking to is under half an hour on foot; everything worth driving to is under one.

What exactly do I own at Elk Hollow?
You hold the deed to a specific cabin — a titled piece of real property, not a timeshare. The resort operates it inside the rental pool whenever you are not staying, and you keep up to six weeks of owner use each year.
Who runs the resort day to day?
A single on-site operator manages hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance, and the rental pool under one management agreement. Owners receive quarterly statements and never handle bookings themselves.
Is the valley reachable in winter?
Yes. Forest Road 12 is plowed to the gatehouse all season, and the resort runs a shuttle to the ski lifts, thirty-five minutes away. Deep-winter arrivals are met at the gatehouse by snowcat.
When would the first cabins open?
The concept timeline opens the bathhouse and the first twelve cabins in autumn 2028, with the remaining sixteen cabins and the field kitchen following through 2029.
